Your kids are either out of school or will be soon, and if you’re looking for fun activities for them, crafts are definitely an option. For kiddos who love both candy and Disney, this clever DIY is a great one.

Content creator Amy Locurto used nothing but mason jars, hot glue, paint, and a ribbon to create an adorable candy jar kids will love.

To create Locurto’s adorable candy jar, you’ll need a set of mason jars. Remove the seal (not the twisting top) from two jars. Next, using a hot glue gun, attach them to the top of a complete lid, one on each side, so that they look like ears.

Grab a group of mason jars and get going.

Next, take the new ear-shaped top and spray paint it the color of your choice (Locurto used white paint). As it’s drying, use the ribbon of your choice to create a bow. Then, once the top is dry, hot glue the bowl between the ears.

Screw the lid back onto the glass jar, fill it with candy, and you’ve got an adorable, Disney-themed candy jar.

The fun craft is far from Locurto’s only Disney creation. The content creator is actually most well-known for her personal recipes as well as her Disney food dupes and creations. She’s created a giant Mickey-themed cinnamon roll and offers a dupe for Disney park’s famous Dole Whip with a bit of added coconut rum.

If you’ve got a Disney-loving kid, this craft (and Locurto’s recipes) will make a great summer activity.
