A bowl or jar for sprouting

A cup of wheat sprouting seeds

A tray with drainage holes

Plastic lid with air holes

Wheatgrass i.e. Triticum aestivum plant from which we obtain the wheat is considered as a super potent health food with…

Remove any stones or debris from a half cup of seeds before sprouting wheatgrass.

Put these seeds in a bowl or jar for sprouting.

After adding water, cover the jar with a plastic lid. For at least six hours or overnight, soak these seeds.

After that, completely drain the seeds of water. At least twice and three times daily, repeat the rinsing and draining processes.

The seeds will begin to sprout in two to three days. The tails should now start to appear.

Fill the growing tray with a layer of soil that is half an inch or larger.

To wet the soil, mist it with some water, but don't overdo it.

Sprinkling sprouting seeds over the soil is a good idea.

After that, cover the seeds with some loose dirt.

Place the tray in a dry area with some light from the side.

A plastic lid with air holes is used to cover the tray. A minimum of one to two inches of grass should be able to grow on the lid.

Spray the seeds with water each day until they take root and grass starts to appear.

Remove the cover once the grass is about 1 to 2 inches long.

Keep watering the grass every day.
